Abstract The application of biodiesel will increase in accordance with the government’s mandatory program for saving fossil fuels. challenging would come from particulate levels and water content. One efforts to fix issues is by adding rhodinol citronella oil as an additive. This research was conducted design a vacuum distillation process which has 500L capacity determine fractionation unit. Simulation carried out using Aspen HYSYS software. result simulation expected provide overview that comply standard after some data validation. applied pressure 4-5 mbar variation reflux ratios 1,2, 3. best obtained ratio 2 at 47.80% geraniol 61.34% citronellol concentrations. also following results are maximum minimum pipe diameter 0.04 m 0.02 m, thickness 3.7 mm 2.8 column height 10.5 0.2412 3 mm, condenser length 1.11 0.2032 reboiler length, 1.5 0.6515 m.
